Carol Robinson (1889-1979), music educator and pianist.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of papers of Carol Robinson from 1919-1968. The papers include correspondence, contracts, photographs, lecture notes, clippings, and sheet music but mainly programs for piano performances either by Robinson or her students at the Dalcroze School of Music (New York, N.Y.). The materials document Robinson's performance, recording, and teaching careers in the musical field. The collection also contains music manuscripts by George Antheil and Bohuslav MartinuÌ̉.
