Margaret Lavinia Campbell Kelley (1806-1877), married Rev. John Kelley, a Methodist minister, in 1833, resided in Tennessee.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of a diary of Margaret Lavinia Campbell Kelley and a few Kelley family papers. The diary describes the work of her husband John and son David Campbell both ministers, Union troop activities around her home in Tennessee during the Civil War, and farm activities.
