Harrison Bailey served in the United States Navy from 1944-1946. He graduated from the University of Washington with a major in history and taught a variety of subjects in high schools and community colleges for 32 years.

The collection consists of a typescript of Harrison Bailey's memoir, Have you always looked this way, son? The almost true story of Bailey, H. C., 387-07-50, and his service in the Navy, 1944-1946, dated 1984.
