Frances Anne Kemble (1809-1893) was a British actress and writer.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of Theatre Royal, Covent-Garden playbills from shows casting Fanny Kemble, two letters written by Kemble, and engravings and a daguerreotype of Kemble, from 1830-1832. The collection also includes the March 12, 1859 issue of New-York Times, featuring a news article regarding sales of the estate of Mr. Pierce Butler of Savannah, Georgia.
