Sterling W. Collier was from Decatur, Georgia, and served with the 1st Air Cavalry, and 52nd Infantry in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Custodial History

The collection was originally a scrapbook kept by Sterling Collier's sister, Claudia (Chig), and was disbound for preservation purposes. Sterling's mother, Mrs. Hollis V. Collier, presented the scrapbook to University of Georgia's Special Collections Libraries.
