After the Childs Street School burned down, the school district decided to sell the property rather than rebuild the structure. The collection consists of PTA reports, announcements and clippings regarding Childs Street School in Athens, Georgia during the 1950s. Included are four issues of the school newspaper, Childs St. Bulletin (later title Childs Street News).
