John T. Collins was a customs house agent for the port of Brunswick, Georgia.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of four letterbooks (one is unbound) of John T. Collins from 1868-1884. Mainly pertaining to Collins' duties as customs agent for the port of Brunswick, Georgia, the volumes include correspondence detailing arrivals in port, vessels cleared, inspections, fees collected, and official appointments.
