Augustus Longstreet Hull (1847-1909), banker and University of Georgia trustee (1883-1909), was born in Athens, Georgia.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of a letterbook of Augustus Longstreet Hull, 1880-1898. The letterbook includes copies of correspondence pertaining to purchases of property, stocks (mainly railroad), and inheritance of property; the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia) concerning hiring professors, and electing a new chancellor.
