Depths shown by soundings; Includes indexes for "The names of the proprietors of land in South Carolina" and "The names of the proprietors of land in Georgia"; Large cartouche, bottom right, encloses title, etc.; At bottom beneath border: London. Published as the Act directs, by Wm. Faden, Charing Cross. June 1st 1780; Dedication: to the right honourable Lord George Germaine...[signed] William Faden; Shows lists of "The name of the proprietors..."; This 1780 edition has many changes: along the coasts are soundings, new plantations and roads, names of islands or streams added or changed, etc.; From: Jefferys, T.
