The Philological Society of UGA had its inception in 1909 and was founded to discuss and foster the common interests of the Schools of Language and Literature.The society was open to instructors and (by invitation) to graduate and undergraduate students.

This collection consists of a record book that contains the history, constitution and minutes of the Philological Society of the University of Georgia.
