The candlesticks display a nautical theme and may have been attached to Naval activities conducted on the UGA campus in early part of 20th century.

The collection consists of two nautically themed candlesticks. They may have been associated with Naval activities on the UGA Campus in the early part of the 20th century. They were originally found in Hargrett's Manuscript Unit but nothing is known about their origins.
