Scope and Content
The collection consists of photocopies of Henry Newman Salzburger letterbooks as follows: Extracts of Letters; Letters to the Saltzburghers & Georgia, vol. 1; Letters from the Saltzburghers, etc., vol. 1; Letters from the Salzburg & Georgia, vol. 2; Letters from and to the Saltzburghers & Georgia, vol. 2; Letters from Saltzburghers & Georgia, vol. 3; An Account of Receipts and Disbursements; The Several Accounts of Receipts and Disbursements; Saltzburgh Emigration to Georgia; Index of Letters Sent. The collection also includes an incomplete typescript of Henry Newman's Salzburger letterbooks, transcribed and edited by George Fenwick Jones. The typescript contains handwritten notations and corrections.
