Scope and Content

The collection consists of correspondence, policy board minutes, by-laws, surveys, plans, evaluations and projects connected with the Athens Model Cities Program from 1968-1973.

Organization and Arrangement

The collection is organized into two boxes which contain a total of 16 folders. Box 1 contains: 1. Correspondence. 2. Policy board minutes, 1968 : by-laws and representatives. 3. Policy board minutes, 1969. 4. Policy board minutes, 1970. 5. Policy board minutes, 1971. 6. Policy board minutes, 1972. 7. Policy board minutes, 1973. 8. Policy board, drafts of by-laws, 1970-1973. 9. Community survey. Box 2 contains: 1. Project evaluation and priority rankings. 2. Social services and economic manpower projects, third action year. 3. Plans for the fourth action year. 4. Social services and economic manpower projects, fourth action year. 5. Employment services project. 6. Physical environment projects. 7.
