Ebenezer Strahan was the grandfather of Miss Roberta Hodgson.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of handwritten poems by Ebenezer Strahan (undated). Subjects of the poems vary, and include love, philosophy, religion, and nature. Some poems are possibly translations from the Greek language, and one is in Greek. Also included is an explanatory letter: dated April 30, 1936, to "President Harmon Caldwell," signed "Roberta Hodgson."
