Consists of one letter from Fannie Hansell to Louisa Young Jones on March 13, 1864 from Oglethorpe, Macon County, Georgia. Jones was the sister of General Pierce Manning Butler Young.

The letter discusses Camp Sumter, or Andersonville Prison Camp. She describes the miserable conditions and notes that many prisoners are "constantly" trying to escape.
