Born in Albany, Georgia, Jim Fowler (1930-2019) was a zoologist and former host of the television show Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, for which he won four Emmy Awards.
This collection contains materials pertaining to the career of zoologist and television host, Jim Fowler. Included are photographs, clippings, printed materials and slides of Betsey Fowler's art, as well as administrative files kept by photographer Jim Valentine. Of special note are maps of the Animal Forest designed by Jim Fowler, and a Wild Kingdowm poster and comic book.
