Scope and Content
The collection consists of two items: a University of Georgia Demosthenian Literary Society medal dated 1874, possibly presented to Jacob Phinizy; and a letter written on Phinizy & Co. letterhead, dated Augusta, Georgia, August 18, 1890, to "Mr. W.B. Barnett," signed "Jacob Phinizy," regarding the sale of Phinizy's land.
