Hoke Smith O'Kelley was born in Loganville, Georgia. He was a lawyer, mayor of Loganville, and five time candidate for governor of Georgia.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of two letters from Hoke O'Kelley while he was stationed overseas during World War II, regarding ex-servicemen benefits. Also included are obituaries of Mrs. W.R. O'Kelley and Reverend Artemas Franklin O'Kelley.
