Margaret Mitchell (1900-1949) was an American author who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 for Gone with the Wind. The movie adaptation of it in 1939 became the highest-grossing film in Hollywood, and received a record ten Academy Awards.
This collection contains a letter from Margaret Mitchell to Mr. Rubin concerning the movie adaptation of Gone with the Wind, and her decline of his offer to provide a private screening for her and several friends.
