Joseph G. Bardy was a serviceman in the 80th Fighter Bomber Squadron, U.S. Air force in Suwon, Korea, and in the 2d Bombardment Wing, Medium, at Hunter Air Force Base, Savannah, Georgia.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of correspondence from Joseph G. Bardy to his family in Brooklyn, New York. The first letter is dated February 12, 1953, Suwon, Korea. The remaining letters were mailed from Hunter Air Force Base, Savannah, Georgia. Bardy writes about service life, the war, and current events.
