Collection Description

Scope and Content

The collection consists of correspondence to Berry, from her children, grandchildren, and relatives, photographs, and greeting cards. Included are letters from her son Meredith W. Berry concerning his search for work during the Depression in Atlanta (Ga.) and New Orleans (La.) and his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Because of censors, the WWII letters contain little war news, but do contain news of family and friends.
