Historical Note

James A. Holakamp (1921-1983) was a forester and logging engineer, who organized and operated a forestry consulting service in Atlanta, Georgia (JAHCO) from 1968 until 1983.

Scope and Content

This collection contains correspondence, reports, subject files, and writings related to James A. Holekamp's forestry career; papers regarding the meetings of various forestry associations; photographic material and blueprints depicting mill yards, forestry equipment and machinery, and logging activity; and miscellaneous personal material.
