Richard Fielder Armstrong a Georgia born, Lieutenant in the Confederate States navy, who served on both the Sumter and the Alabama, under Raphael Semmes.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of one letter: dated Halifax, Nova Scotia, December 10, 1895, to "My dear Mrs. Kell," signed "R. F. Armstrong," regarding Two Years on the Alabama, written by Arthur Sinclair.
