Historical Note

G.C. Adams (1868-1949) married Lillian Green (1867-1952) and had seven children. He served on the Board of Education, was a school superintendent, a State Representative, and Commissioner of Agriculture. He started agriculture based school clubs in Newton County that folded into the 4-H Clubs of Georgia.

Scope and Content

This collection contains newspaper clippings, family photographs, and ephemera.
