Historical Note

Interviews were recorded starting in 2012 by Dr. Roy Legette, an Associate Professor of Music at the University of Georgia. Interviews were recorded in various places throughout Georgia and Alabama next hit, including at the annual meetings of the Georgia Music Teachers Association conference and in teachers' classrooms.

Scope and Content

The interviews recorded by Dr. Roy Legette include personal perspectives of music teachers who represent a wide scope of experiences in various elementary, middle, and high schools settings.
