Ten typed, signed letters, some with enclosures, to constituent , Mrs. Gerald T. (Elizabeth) Massie of Tucker, Georgia, from Georgia politicians: Senator Richard B. Russell, Senator Herman E. Talmadge, and Governor Carl Sanders. Content of the letters includes several topics, such as: desegregation, the 1964 Presidential Election, and the "Great Society." The collection does not include the original letters by Mrs. Massie; but instead features the responses and reactions to her opinions and questions. The original letters from Mrs. Massie to the three politicians possibly exist in the Herman E. Talmadge Collection, Richard B. Russell, Jr. Collection and Carl E. Sanders Papers held by the Richard B. Russell Library.
