Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThis collection consists of one photograph album with fifty-one black-and-white photographs taken between 1907 and 1934 that depict a logging community and the surrounding landscape in the Adirondack Mountains (N.Y.). Of particular interest is the photograph of the Derrick House, a hotel that existed in the deserted city of Derrick, New York, as well as several photographs of plank roads and bridges built for transporting lumber.
