Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe file consists of photocopied research compiled by Mary Rose Taylor pertaining to the creation of the Margaret Mitchell Emergency Clinic and Hughes Spaulding Pavilion of the Grady Memorial Hospital and Margaret Mitchell's support of Morehouse College. During her life, Margaret Mitchell contributed to Morehouse College to provide scholarships for Black medical students. When she was struck by a taxi in 1949, she was taken to Grady Hospital where she died.
