He married Charlotte "Lottie" Blatchley (1875-1964), and had a son Rufus B. MCall (1915-2003) who married Frances Livingston Copeland. It features thoughts on interwar politics, KKK, Nazi and Communist threats in America, developing news stories, and business of the supervisor for the AP Southern District.
