John Ferrie letter to Jacob Weed
Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of one letter: dated Charleston, May 2, 1787, addressed to Jacob Weed at Point Peter, St. Mary's River, Georgia, from John Ferrie, regarding 500 acres at Point Peter, St. Mary's River, Georgia that Ferrie "would be willing to give up his claim to" if Weed would help Ferrie with what he believe an outrageous price that Weed's partner James Finley had charged for a survey.
