Sons of Temperance ledger
Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of a ledger with three sections. The first and largest section concerns the Sons of Temperance, Cane Creek Division in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Included are rules of order, constitution, names of members and their occupations, and accounts of members, from 1852-1855. The second section contains four pages of minutes of the Stephenson Gold Mining Company, Dahlonega, Georgia, from 1861. The third section contains the constitution, by-laws, list of members, and minutes of the Dahlonega Debating Society, Dahlonega, Georgia, from 1871.
