Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteFor their 600th anniversary, the University of Heidelberg in West Germany founded the Schurman Library devoted to American history and American studies, to which the University of Georgia Press presented books. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of correspondence, pamphlets, a list of books the University of Georgia Press presented to the University of Heidelberg, photocopies of newspaper clippings, photographs of the transfer of books ceremony, and of the books in the Schurman Library.
