The NEA presents "The big read" in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and in cooperation with Arts Midwest. "The big read" brings together partners across the country to encourage reading for pleasure and enlightenment. Scope and ContentThis collection consists of materials related to the 2008 "Big Read" program in Athens, Georgia. This program focused on the novel Bless me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya. Included in the collection are a calendar of events, newspaper articles, posters, a reader's guide, an audio guide, and Spanish and English language editions of the novel Bless Me, Ultima.
