Collection DescriptionBiographical NoteEllen Cullen McCormack was born on September 15, 1926. She was a Democratic Party candidate for the presidential nomination in 1976. She ran on a pro-life platform, and while she won no primaries, her name appeared on the ballot in 18 states. McCormack chaired the New York Right to Life Party and ran as its candidate for Lieutenant Governor of New York in 1978. In 1980 she ran for President again as a third-party candidate. McCormack died on March 27, 2011. Scope and ContentOne 16mm film of three presidential campaign television spots from 1976, for pro-life candidate Ellen Cullen McCormack.
