Historical Note

Waldo Silas Rice graduated from the University of Nebraska and the University of Georgia. Rice was professor of Animal Husbandry at the University of Georgia from 1921-1941; and a Beef Cattle & Swine Specialist at the University of Georgia Agricultural Extension Service from 1941-1945.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of correspondence, awards, diplomas, and photographs of Waldo Silas Rice dated 1921-1961.
