Collection Description
Scope and Content
The collection consists of one dis-bound scrapbook containing several thousand prescriptions pasted onto the volume's pages. Some prescriptions are blank. Most prescriptions contain names of doctors and druggists in and around Macon, Georgia. Drugstores include John Ingalls, Apothecary, Rankin, Massenburg & Co., and others.
The volume has sustained major water damage, and several dates are faded and unidentifiable. Prescriptions appear to date 1870-1879.
