Pat Smith of Tucker, Georgia was a member of the Atlanta chapter of the National Organization for Women. She served as a chairperson for the NOW Political Action Committee, as well as the coordinator of the NOW Southern Regional Conference in the mid 1970s.

Scope and Content

Consists of materials mostly from the 1970s pertaining to the Atlanta Chapter of the National Organization for Women. Contains correspondence, including letters and surveys sent to policymakers asking for their stances on women's issues. Contains brochures, newsletters, and materials pertaining to the organization, women's issues, and advocacy for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment.
