The stereoscope allowed two images to be viewed as one image in order to create a three-dimensional illusion. The stereoscopes were images of people, historic sites, cities, landscapes, industry, and agriculture.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of stereographs of images of Egypt. Also included is a stereograph of three people with leprosy sitting on the ground outside the city of Jerusalem.
