Historical Note

J. A. Murdoch was a photographer who lived in Atlanta, Georgia. He did commercial photography in the 1920s from his studio at 220 Courtland Street. He took a variety of photographs including portraits of Georgians, including local boxers and members of the KKK.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of 21 photographs of a large, unidentified farm in 1920s in Georgia hill country.
