The collection consists of correspondence between Wilcox family members from 1836-1893. Correspondents include Daniel, Elisa, and Jonathan S. Wilcox in Augusta, Georgia. They write to each other, and also to Colonel Jonathan S. and Chloe Wilcox in Madison, Connecticut. Correspondence regards family health, activities and business, life in Augusta, Georgia, and effects of the war. Also included are an indenture, deed, account for the sale of hay, and a tax list.
