Dr. Jack Conrad Thompson was an Agricultural Economics professor at the University of Georgia 1956-1983.

The collection consists of 17 African artifacts and one Impala rug, plus several contemporary carvings, including masks, ivory, and three clay figures acquired by Dr. Jack Thompson.
