The collection consists of one letter written by William Thomas Overby, Camp Centerville, Virginia, January 1862, to his sister, biographical information concerning William Thomas Overby, correspondence to Mrs. Rosa (Overby) Christian and Martha Katherine Christian regarding the location of William Thomas Overby's grave, and photographs, newspaper clippings, and flyers concerning Overby's grave, erecting a marker, and celebration of William Thomas Overby Day.
