Theodore W. (Blackeye) Woodall grew up in White, Georgia, and served as a sargeant in the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, U.S. Army during the Korean War, receiving 2 Purple Hearts.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of one letter: dated North Korea, September 12, "Dear Whites," signed "Blackeye," regarding the war, soldiers killed, and replacements from Hawaii.
