Scope and Content

The collection consists of three documents, a petition signed by James B. McLelland for money to buy a kettle drum, correspondence to John Reid from Jesse Thomas regarding General Bragg's resignation, General Hardee taking command, prisoners, and troop movement in Tennessee, and a requisition to Confederate General Charles Clark by John Savage for a horse.
