Scope and Content

The small collection consists mainly of correspondence between Emily Timrod Goodwin and Paul Hamilton Haynes and his family from 1867-1894. Also included is a photograph of Henry Timrod, undated; a scrapbook containing clippings about Henry Timrod and clippings of Timrod's poetry, 1867-1929; and a publication of Timrod's poetry with two handwritten poems on the final two pages, undated.
