Historical Note

The Henry Walton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution was established in Madison, Georgia in 1909.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of material facilitating the operation of the Henry Walton Chapter (Madison, Ga.) of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as documentation of activities and programming. Included are meeting minutes from 1910 to 1995 and 2008 to 2012, administrative papers and correspondence, newspaper clippings concerning the D.A.R. from the 1920s to 2015, and some printed programs, yearbooks, and rituals.
