Collection DescriptionBiographical/historical noteIn 1935, the University of Georgia Woman's Club was reorganized into a Club that is essentially the same as the one currently in existance. The purpose of the Club, as set out in speeches by early presidents, was (1) aid to students (2) cooperation with the faculty (3) assistance to the president of the University of Georgia.
