Historical Note

UGA's Public Affairs (formerly Public Relations) Division is the chief communications and marketing organization for the University of Georgia. The Division communicates the objectives, goals and priorities of the University of Georgia through information dissemination, media relations, publications, imaging and audio services, open records and visitors' services.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of seven 1990s era VHS tapes. These tapes document events that took place on the UGA campus during that decade. These events include the 1995 PAVAC Opening Ceremony with the UGA Symphony performing Beethoven and the 1996 Memorial Service for, long-time head of the School of Art, Lamar Dodd.
