This collection holds the contents of a scrapbook that Mary Frances Yates (Green) created during her college years at the University of Georgia from 1934 through 1938. Mary Frances' scrapbook includes newsclippings, photographs, party invitations along with many other materials. This unique document provides a glimpse into a girl's life during the mid 1930s both as a UGA student and as a resident of Georgia. The other two items in the collection are a program from Mary Frances' 1938 UGA commencement and a copy of her 2009 autobiography.

The Harry E. Harman III scrapbook collection consists of four scrapbooks created by Harry Harman III. One of the scrapbooks focuses on his father, Harry Harman II, who was a star player on the University of Georgia football and baseball teams in the early 20th century. This scrapbook mostly deals with the senior Harman's 1908 athletic season. The other three scrapbooks were also created by the younger Harman and feature his athletic career from 1926 through 1937. The two early scrapbooks feature Harry's high school sports career at Woodberry Forest School in Woodberry, Virginia. One of these scrapbooks includes correspondence from various coaches (including Georgia's coach H.J. Stegeman) to Harmon. The fourth scrapbook is devoted to Harry's athletic endeavors at the University of Georgia. In addition to the scrapbooks, also included is the younger Harmon's Southeastern Conference high jump medal from 1937.

Correspondence addressed to Joseph Emerson Brown concern Appointments, favors, petitions, and Elijah Brown. Postcards addressed to Joseph M. Brown are signed E.B. and L.B. Correspondence from and addressed to John Burt in Westminster, Maryland and Warwick, New York regard Assembly dates, annual reports, favors, receipts; and there are correspondence addressed to James Brady, Henry Kerr, Charles Brown, Mr. A. J. Burt, Stephen Burt, Hon. E. M. Stanton, and others. In addition, there are letters from Washington Allston and Jasper F. Cropsey, newspaper clippings, a scrapbook constructed by Joseph MacKay Brown, and poems (handwritten and clipped from newspapers).
